Across all age groups, we seek to inspire and teach biblical truth in engaging ways to foster spiritual hunger and commitment. We come alongside families to play our part in helping children build strong foundations that set them up for the adventures of life!

At Eastgate Kids, our programmes are fun and interactive. They are designed to create a safe and welcoming space where children of all ages can grow in their faith in Jesus.
We are passionate about discipling children with a faith that lasts a lifetime. Our wonderful leaders care for, encourage, and inspire each child as they discover who God is and begin to develop a personal faith of their own.
The crèche is open for parents with babies and toddlers during the morning services.

Sundays during the 10am service
We aim to build foundational truths in the hearts and minds of our younger generations. We start in the main service then head out together for stories and activities. Currently, our programme welcomes all children together. A crèche room at the back of the hall is also provided.

Friday night socials at 5:45pm during term time
Charged Youth, for Years’ 7-9, meet every Sunday during the 9am Morning Service. There are fun games, well-crafted Bible studies, small group discussion time and top-notch leaders.
During our 10:45am Chapel Service, we meet for an all-together programme for all young people up to Year 8.
Friday night socials run most Fridays during the school term from 5:45-7:30pm. These evenings are high energy, engaging and connection-focused. Invite your friends and come along for an amazing few hours of fun, laughter, encouragement and, most importantly, Jesus.

Tuesdays 6:30pm during term time + social events
We engage in authentic conversation to learn more about faith in Jesus and build lasting friendships. Everyone who comes will find a friend.

Mondays 7-8:30pm fortnightly during term time
Eastgate Youth launched in Te Kauwhata last year, and we are back again for 2026. Open to all year 7-13 students, these youth nights blend fun activities, tasty food, and meaningful Bible discussions that connect faith to everyday life.
