Global Missions Sunday is a special day in our church calendar each year. It’s a chance for us to dive deeper into global missions and hear updates from our global partners as they bring Jesus’ transforming hope to their local neighbourhoods and beyond.
This year, on Sunday, 17 May, we have the privilege of welcoming our global partner, Bruce Hills, to Eastgate Pakūranga for all three services: 9:00am, 10:45am, and 5:30pm. Bruce will be continuing our Empowered series as we reflect on how we, too, are being transformed by Jesus.
Bruce has been a long-time friend of Eastgate and has faithfully served as a global partner for the past 12 years. As Bruce shifts his focus to local itinerary ministry in Australia, his time as an Eastgate global partner will come to an end at the close of our financial year (31 August 2026).
With Bruce joining us, we have a special opportunity to honour him and farewell him as a global partner, giving thanks for this significant partnership and all that God has done through it.
We will be collecting a love gift to bless Bruce and his wife, Fiona, as they step into this next chapter. You can contribute via the general account by adding “BH Gift” to your bank transfer reference, or by giving via eftpos or cash over the next two Sundays.
