Sunday, 30 August | 10am | at Eastgate Pakūranga

Once a year, our Eastgate congregations from Pakūranga and Te Kauwhata gather for one combined service. Celebration Sunday is an opportunity to come together as one church, giving thanks for all God has done and continues to do among us.

Psalm 96 calls us to ascribe greatness to the Lord and declare His glory among the nations. As we gather, we’ll lift our voices in worship, celebrate God’s faithfulness, and give Him the honour He deserves. Whether you’ve been part of Eastgate for many years or you’ve joined us recently, we’d love you to be part of this special morning.

We’re delighted to welcome Cliff Thompson, Lead Pastor of The Render Gathering, as our guest speaker.

As we celebrate the diversity of God’s family, we’d love to invite you to wear your cultural dress if you’d like to. It’s a wonderful way to reflect the many cultures and backgrounds that make up our church as we worship Jesus together.

After the service, everyone is invited to stay for a shared lunch. If you’re able, please bring a plate of food to share that doesn’t require heating. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy good food, meet someone new, and spend time together as one church family.

We’d love your help

Celebration Sunday is made possible by many people serving together. If you’d like to be involved, we’d love to have you on the team.

There are opportunities to serve in our celebration choir, kitchen team, ushering, or as a car park attendant.
